Mockup is like a prototype of a particular model or design which has the essential features, some point in time you might want to create a branded t-shirt for your brand or company but you can’t really figure out which design will fit or match your brand or company in this case creating a t- shirt mockup will help you find the best fit.
So in this short step by step tutorial you will learn how to create a photo-realistic t-shirt mockup in photoshop. from placing your logo and brand name in the right place and adding cool layer style effect to blend things up, all this are what you will learn in a very simple and understandable method.
All you need to get started is just a clean photo of a blank t-shirt, you got your photo? what else are we waiting for lets start this amazing tutorial.

Step 1. Import your image into photoshop.
First step is to launch photoshop and import your t-shirt image, to do this just drag and drop your image into the work-space. now you will notice the layer is lock because is a background layer, to unlock the layer simply double click on the layer and rename it or go to the top menu Layer> New> Layer from Background, a dialogue box will pop up, here you can rename the layer when done click ok
Step 2. Import your logo.
Drag and drop your logo on top of the t-shirt image, scale it to fit in and position it towards the neck area. now to make the logo stand out and blended add a Bevel & Emboss layer style effect, to do this click on the fx icon below the layer panel a menu will appear from the menu click on Bevel & Emboss, a dialogue box will pop up here you can adjust the settings if you are cool with the effect click ok.

i used the same process to create the one you see above.
Step 3. Add text.
When creating t-shirt mockup design for a new brand or company adding text help people to easily notice the brand. it could be your brand name or anything related. to create text go to the tool bar and select the Type Tool, now click below the logo and type in whatever text you want when done use step 2 method to add a Bevel & Emboss layer style effect to make the text stand out, change the layer blend mode to overlay so it can blend with the t-shirt.
For this tutorial i used ”28 Days Later” font.
Step 4. Add some underline graphics to the text.
Underline graphics helps draw attention to the text, to create an underline graphics go to the tool bar and select the Brush Tool, select a soft brush from the tool settings menu above your document name, set the size to 5 or 6. now use it to draw some cool lines below the text when done repeat step 2 method to add Bevel & Emboss layer style effect and change the layer blend mode to overlay.
